It works on gas, induction, electric coil, electric smooth top and glass ceramic hobs, and it is dishwasher and oven safe. Why the handles come off
Handles off, the pans stack inside one another instead of standing on their sides three deep. It is the difference between a cupboard you open carefully and one you just open — and it is why a nineteen-piece set can live in a small kitchen, a camper or a caravan at all.
Take the handle off and the pan is oven safe, grill safe and fridge safe under its own storage lid. Dinner can be finished under the grill and carried to the table in the pan it was cooked in, and the leftovers go into the fridge without being decanted into anything.

Bought it for the van. Nests down to almost nothing, the utensils come with it, and the storage lids mean the leftovers travel. It has been on a gas ring, a camping hob and the oven at home.

I was ready for it to wobble and it does not — you hear it click and it stays put while you are cooking. Takes a day or two to stop double-checking it before you lift a full pan.

Cooks evenly and the induction hob picks it up without a problem, and being able to put the pan straight in the fridge is genuinely useful. The honest note is the non-stick surface: it has stayed good with silicone and wooden utensils and a soft sponge, but I would not put it through the dishwasher every night or go near it with anything metal, and I think you have to accept that about a set at this price.
